Customized Manager Training Series

Overview

The Yang-Tan Institute has identified managers as a target of primary importance in the actual implementation of disability inclusiveness within employer organizations. The goal of the Customized Manager Training Series is to provide on-demand training to managers through an asynchronous web course that explains an organization's policies and practices around disability inclusion within the context of best practice in disability.

This will allow managers to better understand and apply the policies and practices in place within their own organization. This course series is currently in development and will become part of a suite of offerings to support managers as they interact with employees with disabilities in their role as managers. The suite of products will include both this course series that teaches basics around managing with people with disabilities, and the JIT toolkit that supports implementation of what managers learn in the course series.

Project Activities

A project team will be assigned to work with each organizational partner to customize the content of approximately six courses for managers to your organizations policies, practices and resources around disability inclusion.
